The Spanish Grand Prix will debut a brand-new circuit in Madrid from September 11 to 13, 2026, turning the city into the new global hub of motorsport—and an unmissable event for fans of speed, gastronomy, and shopping from around the world. A full year ahead of the race, tickets went on sale and smashed records: the first 25,000 tickets sold out in just 8 hours, with 25 percent purchased by international fans.
The new track, known as the Madring, will combine city-street sections with purpose-built high-speed stretches. Its 5.4-kilometer layout and 22 turns promise some of the most spectacular moments on the F1 calendar, including the banked La Monumental corner—set to become the longest in Formula 1.
The new Madring circuit will combine urban stretches and high-speed sections, just minutes from Madrid’s city center.
Beyond the roar of the engines, Madrid will offer an unforgettable weekend. The circuit is located just five minutes from Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport and a short metro ride from the city center, ensuring easy access for fans worldwide. Spectators will enjoy shaded grandstands, giant screens, and extensive leisure areas filled with entertainment, concerts, and gastronomy.
The entire city will embrace the event. From Gran Vía and Salamanca District to Paseo del Prado, Madrid will showcase its finest side with decorated shopfronts, culinary routes, and special events throughout the weekend. The Grand Prix is expected to draw tens of thousands of national and international visitors, attracted by a one-of-a-kind experience that blends sporting passion with the city’s lively spirit.
The race will be a new reason to visit Madrid, and an opportunity to discover its cosmopolitan and welcoming lifestyle. Visitors can pair Formula 1 excitement with a unique shopping experience, from global fashion brands and local boutiques to El Corte Inglés, Zara, Mango, and H&M, alongside Spanish luxury designers.
